Privacy Policy

DHT will respect the privacy of your email address and agrees to not distribute your email address to any third parties. DHT may collect information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites, and other online products and services, including future products, services or features we develop and introduce (collectively, the “Services”) and through other interactions and communications you have with us. This privacy policy applies to any person who uses our Services (”User”). By using our Services, you consent to the collection, processing and disclosure of data concerning you in accordance with this privacy policy.

Collection of Information
  • User Provided Information. DHT collects information that you provide directly to us, such as when you download and register a mobile application, when you create or modify your account, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. This information may include (a) your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (collectively, “Personal Information”); (b) user name, password and other registration information; (c) transaction-related information, such as when you download or use applications from us or register for our Services; and (d) information you provide us when you contact us for help; and (e) other information you choose to provide and enter into our system when using the Services.
  • Automatically Collected Information. In addition, the Services may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, technical information about your device, system and application software the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your computer or mobile device, your operating system, traffic data, logs and other communication data, and information about the way you use the Services. The Services may also use cookies or other passive tracking mechanisms and tools to collect information in order to facilitate your use of the Services.
  • Location Information. Our mobile application may collect location data from sources such as GPS, wireless networks, cell towers, your IP address or other similar technology once you install the application and consent to the application’s tracking your location. If you permit our mobile application to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system, we may also collect the location of your mobile device when the application is running in the foreground and the background. You may choose to stop our collection of location data through the settings that we provide in the application, or by removing the application from your mobile device.
  • Information Collected from Third Party Sources. We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example: if you engage with a third-party site application whose API we use (or who uses our API), we me receive information about you or your connections from such site or application.
Use of Information

We may use the information that we collect about you to: (i) provide you with the Services, including the mobile application, the website and their contents, and any other products or services used in the Application; (ii) fulfill any other purpose for which you provide your information; (iii) carry out DHT’s obligations and enforce DHT’s rights arising under any agreement between DHT and you; (iv) notify you when updates to the Services are available; (v) send or facilitate communications between you and other users of the Services, for example between a driver and driver manager, at your direction in connection with your use of certain features of the Services; and (vi) determine how the Services are being used and how they and other products and services can be improved.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the mobile application easily by uninstalling the mobile application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can stop collection of information by any other of our Services by ceasing to use such Services.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Services, please contact us at privacy@dannyherman.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Services to function properly.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Services. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security of information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy in the Application and may also inform you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Services, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
